Due to the fact that e-mail accessibility has become widely available, TrafficJot.com is now allowing you to report traffic conditions while on-site.
To submit a report via an email please follow these guidelines: In the body of the email type the line holding the alert location starting with "Location:", line holding alert description starting with "Description:", and ,optionally, a line holding the direction starting with "Direction:".
Example:
Please note that "Location:","Description:", and "Direction:" keywords end up with a colon ":".
It is important to follow this format to allow TrafficJot to properly understand your e-mail.
Most importantly - put location and the description on separate lines.
Only one description line is allowed.
When finished typing the email, please send the report to reports@trafficjot.com .
You can click here reports@trafficjot.com and save a sample email as draft, for your future reference.
Your email will be processed within approximately 1 min. When TrafficJot.com has finished processing your email report, you will get a reply with the status of your alert submission. Once your alert is processed and submitted successfully, it will appear on the traffic map for everyone to see.
If you are a registered Trafficjot user your credits and rank will be updated accordingly. You can specify your username under "username:" keyword in your email body. If you have registered with the same email that you have issued the alert from, your username will be found automatically.
